Re-verify / Link your Aadhaar with Mobile Number using IVR / Store Visit

Mobile Phone users in India have to Re Verify their Mobile Phone Numbers with Aadhaar. Linking Aadhaar with mobile number is made mandatory by the Government of India. 

There are 2 methods to re verify your Mobile Number with Aadhaar. Either you can visit the Retail Store / Retailer or through IVR / OTP.

Link Aadhaar with Mobile Number through IVR

1. Call 14546 using a Mobile Number registered with Aadhaar
2. Confirm whether you are an Indian Resident or Foreign Resident
3. Press 1 for giving your consent to re verify Aadhaar
4. Enter your Aadhaar number and press 1 for confirm
5. An OTP will be sent to the registered mobile number
6. Give permission to your mobile operator to access your details like Name, Photo and Date of Birth from UIDAI
7. IVR reads out the last 4 digits of your mobile number
8. If correct, enter the OTP received
9. Press 1 to complete the process

Link Aadhaar with Mobile Number by visiting the Mobile Store / Retailer

1. Visit your Mobile Service Provider outlet / Retail store.
2. Carry your Aadhaar card or Aadhaar Number along with you
3. Provide your mobile number and Aadhaar Number to the Executive.
4. You will receive an OTP to your mobile number which you want to Link
5. Provide the OTP for verification.
6. Store Executive will ask for your Finger Print in a device
7. You will receive a confirmation SMS from your telecom operator that your Aadhaar card is linked with your Mobile Number. 
8. Some Service Provider will charge you a nominal amount for this service and some provide this service for FREE.
